Long-press the app icon and tap App Info
Tap "Set as default" (or "Open by default")
Make sure "Open supported links" is turned ON

Older Samsung devices:

Go to Settings → Apps
Select your app
Tap "Set as default" → "Supported URLs"
Select "Open in the app"
